OLIVE BRANCH, MS (WMC-TV) - Residents of the Laurelbrook subdivision are fearful the construction of a new church disrupt will disrupt life in their neighborhood.
"There's gonna be an entrance and an egress point that connects to our street, so every Sunday for two services, plus Wednesday nights, we're gonna be faced with 400 plus church members," said Kevin Manns, a resident of the subdivision.
Laurelbrook is located just off Highway 302 in DeSoto County, just outside of Olive Branch's city limits. Tuesday, crews were already digging for the new Great Commission Church, which will set directly across the street from Manns' home.
