'Jingle All the Way' Sparkles for Special Needs Children | Community Spirit

You feet may be sore from tromping through the malls in a dogged quest for the perfect holiday gift. Or maybe your tootsies are tired from running in one of the many races during St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend on December 1.

Well, put those feet up and rest your puppies so they're fresh and ready to run again at 8  a.m.on Saturday morning, December 8.

You'll be welcomed to the beautiful town square in Hernando, Mississippi, the start and finish of the 2012 Jingle All the Way 5K for Through the Roof Pediatric Therapy.

The agency is a non-profit organization that provides therapy to special needs children free of charge. You can sign up for the 5K here.

Those who register automatically become eligible for a free pancake breakfast free of charge to participants and $5 for those who don't feel like running but do feel like pancakes!

But these will not be just any old flapjacks.

No, these pancakes will be crafted by Chef Chris Lee of Memphis St. Cafe, a restaurant that has been featured on the Food Network!

This will be a high quality pancake, my friend! In addition, there will be appearances by Santa, Buddy the Elf and Grizzly Superfans.
