No new hours for motocross track
(WMC-TV) - Motorcycle riders won't be able to lengthen their rides on a DeSoto County motocross anytime soon, reports the DeSoto Times Tribune.
Ruts and Bumps Motocross Track "has permission to be open on Sundays from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sundays and from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday," according to the paper.
The racetrack's owner wanted to be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
However, the county's board of supervisors sided with neighbors who worried the new hours would bring noise and worse traffic.
