Some North Mississippi teens are leading the whole state in a discussion about gun violence.
Teens from the Horn Lake Mayor's Youth council are going the annual state leadership council summit next month.
While there, they will lead a twitter town hall. It will focus on the hot topic of gun control from a teenager's perspective.
We spoke to the the teenaged president of the Horn Lake Mayor's Youth council.
"I look at who has the guns or whatever, younger people, older people, and some times it is the younger people, and I wonder where did they get the guns? Is it Mom, Is it Dad? Where are the guns coming from, I just don't understand," said president of the Horn Lake Mayor's Youth council Chase Moore.
The 6th annual Mississippi Municipal League Statewide Youth Leadership Summit will happen in Hattiesburg from March 1 to 2.
